Welcome to Shirley Gymnastics Club

Shirley Gymnastics Club has approximately 250 aspiring young gymnasts between the ages of 5 and 21.The club has recently moved after the Easter 2009 holiday to a new single location at the Monks Hill Sports Centre, Farnborough Avenue, Selsdon, South Croydon. Our training days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. The club has excellent links with the local community and its motto of "making gymnastics fun for all" ensures we are very much an inclusive general gymnastics club to be proud of.

AFFILIATIONS AND HISTORY.
The club was formed 15 years under the guidance of Malcolm Campbell . Malcolm was previously head coach for the regional Boys Brigade vaulting team. (Malcolm sadly passed away suddenly in June 2004).

Following Mac’s sad passing, the club has undergone a restructure and is now run by a management team committed to the successful future of this club. The club is a member of the British Gymnastics Organisation as well as the London Gymnastics Federation and participates in regional competitions and national festivals.
